Complete Slam Specialties Air Ride Kit for 1965–1970 Chevy Impala

Convert your 1965–1970 Chevrolet Impala to a complete four-corner air ride suspension system with this all-in-one package. The kit combines vehicle-specific front and rear air spring mounts with a Slam Specialties SV-8C manifold, MC.1 handheld controller, dual chrome airmaxxx 580 compressors, a 5-gallon seamless aluminum tank, DOT air line, fittings, wiring and installation accessories.

The system provides independent control of all  our corners, allowing you to raise, lower and level your Impala from the included handheld controller. Select your preferred air spring brand from the available product options.

Choose Your Air Spring Option

This kit is available with four different air spring packages. Each option works with the included Impala front cups and rear mounts, but the brands offer different construction, travel characteristics and pricing.

airmaxxx 2500 and 2600 Air Springs

The standard package uses two airmaxxx 2500 air springs in the front and two larger airmaxxx 2600 air springs in the rear. The smaller front bags provide additional clearance inside the front spring pockets, while the larger rear bags provide increased air volume and vehicle support.

Slam Specialties Air Management

The Slam Specialties SV-8C manifold combines the inflate and deflate valves for all four corners into one compact assembly. This reduces the number of separate valves, fittings and connections required, helping create a cleaner installation with fewer potential leak points.

The included MC.1 slim handheld controller provides direct control of the front, rear, sides and individual corners of the vehicle.

Dual Compressor Air System

Two chrome airmaxxx 580 compressors provide strong airflow and quick recovery for the included 5-gallon air tank. The polished compressors and seamless raw aluminum tank are well suited for a visible trunk or show-quality installation.

Other full-size GM vehicles from the same era may use similar suspension components, but fitment must be confirmed before ordering.

Installation Notes

Professional installation is recommended. Air spring clearance must be checked throughout the complete suspension range. Air springs and air line must not contact the frame, exhaust, tires, control arms or other moving components.

Additional fabrication or suspension modifications may be required depending on the vehicle’s suspension, wheel and tire combination and desired ride height. A wheel alignment is required after installation.
