The RideTech 11163011 TQ Series ShockWaves deliver advanced air ride performance with race-inspired adjustability and modern suspension control. Designed for first-generation Camaro and Firebird models and 1968–1974 Nova platforms, these ShockWaves install similarly to coil-overs while providing adjustable ride height and exceptional handling.

RideTech’s patented shock-within-a-spring design integrates a high-performance monotube shock absorber with an air spring to create a compact, powerful suspension solution. The result is smooth ride quality, predictable handling, and the ability to instantly adjust ride height for street driving, aggressive cornering, or show stance.

Remote-mounted reservoirs help maintain consistent fluid temperatures during aggressive driving while also providing easier access to the compression adjustment knobs.

Inside the shocks, advanced monotube technology features a large 1.834-inch piston, heavy-duty 5/8-inch shaft, and impact-forged shock body to ensure durability and consistent performance.

The suspension calibration and air spring design are based on more than twenty years of RideTech air ride development across street driving, highway cruising, and track performance. The result is predictable handling similar to coil-over systems with the added advantage of instant ride height adjustment.
